My sister’s a total foodie – I feel like she would love this book! I did see it was coming out as a movie (as well as Winter’s Tale on Valentine’s Day! I’m going to make it my February TBR read).

This sounds good! I hadn’t heard of it before. I like to read books having to do with India and with food, so will add this to my TBR list too. Just finished listening to the audio version of Blue Plate Special by Kate Christensen, and loved it — a writer’s memoir of family, work, and food.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts – I hadn’t even heard of this book, but it sounds fascinating! Plus I love Helen Mirren, and now I have time to read the book before the movie comes out in the summer.
