The big things are tremendously important though, and often we can’t have these small things without the big things.

This sounds good, but like it would really drive me nuts too! I read a book set in China and the women lived the same lives and were worth the same. Made me so mad.

In reply to Katie @ Words for Worms. Put bluntly. Katie, I am so tired of these religions using their interpretation of doctrine to abuse women and keep them down. Sharia law is an abomination and now this nut job in Nigeria is allowed to kidnap girls and sell them, all by saying western education is sin. No, education is power and you cannot stand that a woman would wield power so much better than you do. So, yes, it's a tough book to read.
