No oven?! How are you surviving? You could get the book now because it is not a full-on cookbook, more like great in-depth reading on what it takes to bake amazing bread.

I’ve always been a fan of Beard’s Bread book–I can’t remember the exact title, but it is incredibly no-frills recipes and techniques and I adore it. It is, of course, in storage with the rest of my belongings, so perhaps when I break it out, I’ll pick this one up first to remind me why it’s worth the effort to make bread at home.
