That is a great tip and it is my dream but NONE of the rooms have even been painted yet, so I’m sitting in the basement for the next two weeks trying not to lose my mind.

(Pro tip from someone who has moved more than 20 times: start with one room and make it liveable so that whenever you’re overwhelmed, you can retreat to its relative calm. I recommend the bedroom.)
