This one isn't something I would automatically be drawn to, but I definitely won't add it to my ever-lengthening TBR now. Nice review. I particularly appreciate the phrase "ADD reading"! :)

This one caught my eye when I first saw it since I used to work in the financial world (but not trading). But, I feel like these types of novels are so hard to pull off well. Often things are either exaggerated to an over the top parody of reality (which annoys me since I've kind of been there). The one time I've seen it done well is Buying In by Laura Hemphill - female in investment banking world, written by an ex-i banker.. It appeared to be chick lit on the surface, but was much more than that. My husband even liked it.

Anyway - sorry this fell flat and another one I now don't have to worry about trying, so thank you!
