I enjoyed this one and the crazy train I rode with it. It wasn’t a great one for me, but it kept me reading to see where it was going.

In reply to Tara. It's one of those that is almost impossible to recommend because it is so subjective. Just on't work for a lot of people, but my oh my, it finally did for me!

I read a sample, but like you on your first go around, I was not lured in. I’m still not sure and suspect the ship has sailed for me on Mr. Splitfoot, though your review certainly gives me pause!

In reply to Sarah's Book Shelves. I know! I totally hated it the first go-round, but, for whatever reason, this time it worked. It was a matter of the story being strong enough that I HAD to find out the ending. Which was great.

I’m surprised this one worked for you! I thought about picking it up when it came out, but tend to have trouble “suspending belief”. Although, I was able to for 1Q84.
