I don’t know how you read, but with King it’s fairly easy to see where he’s slowing down and so I just skim or skip those parts. It doesn’t lessen my enjoyment. Having said that, it’s good but it’s not my favorite of his books.

You would be one person I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to. It is graphic in every way and for some people it will be far too much. I was a bit put off, but overall, it is a harsh but effective rage read. Read it and then let’s Thelma and Louise the shit out of some entitled, white, male sexual predators.

The horror level is low to medium for King. I get very queasy but this didn’t bother me.

I don’t know where you stand on graphic sex and language, but Faw is brutally real in that way. It is not a happy look at one woman’s life, but I felt as if it was, in all probability, realistic. Not easy reading.

And maybe this is a King novel I could handle? What’s the scare factor? I’ve never picked one up before (except for On Writing) because I don’t like horror–but I handle stand suspense and thrills.
