Wasn’t it amazing? Such a powerful story. I’ve been recommending it to all my friends with young teens. I just loved how Thomas brought out so clearly that it doesn’t matter what a person’s background might be, but it’s who they are in the moment. As you said, it is a painful truth. I chose to listen to this one, without the pressure of reviewing it and I think that made me enjoy The Hate U Give even more.
