Swans is fabulous! You should definitely read it- especially if you’re interested in NYC in the 1960s and Truman Capote. She captures the times so perfectly.

(Which I also loved.) The Hollywood history lesson made The Girls interesting for me and that more than the women themselves kept the story moving. The fictional Evelyn proved out to be the most interesting of this week’s Hollywood women.
