Plus, I just couldn’t tell which way she was going- either they were unhinged or we’re supposed to learn just how difficult being a new mother is. Either way, I was uncomfortable.

Thank you! It is good, but not great. It would be good for a book club because I’m sure some would think it was accurate. It just didn’t feel that way to me.

Good choice- not a big miss. If you want to go that route then The Favorite Sister is nutty enough and really good (she mixes in a fair amount of social commentary).

This one was a Book of the Month selection and I almost picked it. I ended up skipping the month, despite the fact that several of the selections seemed “possibly” in my wheelhouse. But I’ve decided I’m going to be pickier about what I actually add to my shelves, so now I don’t have to regret passing this one up.
