None that I can think of. A part of me thinks it would be perfect because it is so beautifully written, but another part wonders if she might be bored. I’d risk it.

Absolutely! Marsh and swamp are not two words that evoke places I want to go. I’m still not a fan but she conveys Kya’s love so beautifully you can’t help but be drawn in.

It is really immersive. Without a lot of descriptors which makes it an even greater feat. That aspect reminded me so much of Prince of Tides.

I hope you like it. The writing is the kind I want all the time, but is harder and harder to find. I didn’t love everything about the plot, but not enough to ding it more than half a star!
