Thank you- it&#039;s actually Vernonia, Oregon! I took it when we lived in Portland.

It&#039;s good, but different and doesn&#039;t have the punch of House of Sand and Fog. I&#039;m not sure he can do that again.

Somehow your comment on Katerina got deleted by WP, but yes, I&#039;d say the novel felt a bit narcissistic. At the same time, the story is a good one and the ending has a nice twist. He needs to move on from himself, though!]]></description>
