In reply to The Cue Card. It's good, but don't force yourself to keep reading. It's a lot of detail so breaking it up into sections works well. Then you can enjoy the dishy stuff without getting dragged down.

In reply to Lauren. There is something to be said both for and against being thorough. When the subject is a hotel that was privy to so much Hollywood history I care less about what things cost and more about the personalities. There is still lots to enjoy so read it when you have time.

I was SO looking forward to this. I was hoping to get the review assignment and did not, and maybe that was for the better. I still want to read it, and this review is a part of that, but the advice to read it in chunks is great advice I would not have been able to follow under a deadline. Plus narrow margins and lots of pages. My kryptonite! I’m glad you liked it, though, I will keep it on the list for sure.
