In reply to Rory. I loved it as well. I didn't love this one as much but it is still so good. Plus, they talk about New Belgium! All of the beer talk is fascinating- not overwhelming, but just everything that goes into making a great beer. I loved it.

In reply to The Cue Card. I think you'd like it because it's so matter-of-fact. Those Minnesotans don't waste time on emotion! Plus, there's a fair amount in the book about making beer. Not in any boring way, but really fun and interesting- and I'm not even a beer person!

Hmm you have me wondering about the ending of the book … with the two sisters. I like your use of : baked into the novel, ha nice. Sounds like it’s a bit about money or economic realities.
