In reply to Brittany Block. For me, I was willing to forgive a bit of extra drama in the plot just to keep reading about June. Every awkward, unsettling moment inside her head. Also, it's not that long so would be a quick re-read. I liked it just as much the second time.

I read this almost five years ago and think my maturity as a reader and a human being has drastically changed. I didn’t love it when I first read it but your review has me wondering if I should do a reread and see if it works for me this time around.

I loved this book, too, but I’m curious about something. Did it lose a little the second time around? I’m wondering because you rated it four stars and I so rarely reread that I don’t think I’d ever do it with a book I didn’t consider to be a tip top book to begin with. What was it’s rating the first time you read it?
