I hope so! It would be nice if there was something more substantive out there. But maybe her life's purpose was just Winston? I don't know.

What a bummer about the Lady Clementine book. Ugh. I think not long ago I got an e-book on sale (thru book bub) of the biography of Clementine Churchill by Sonia Purnell for $1.99. I haven't read it yet .... but it's in my pile of purchases to read for the future. I hope it will be interesting.

I do DNF books and while the majority of what I read is provided by publishers that doesn't stop me. But often, I'm an optimist and think 'there must be something here' or that it's my mood and not the book. This is especially true of books I was really looking forward to. Having said that, 2020 is not starting well and I can see an uptick on DNFs on the horizon.

Reading your reviews, I wondered if you ever abandon books? Lately I've been abandoning books more frequently if they're not holding my interest and it's been a very good thing for me. Perhaps these are review copies and you feel bound to finish them?
