Oh my gosh, I read it so long ago. I’m not a fan of too much graphic anything so I don’t think so. Maybe not a young teen (13,14?), but I don’t have children so I’m not a good judge anymore.

I wasn’t either except for the Ken Burns documentary- which is was fabulous, but it was mostly from the POV of America and politics. This is much more the human perspective.

Oh, Lord, Susan, I’m trying, but even the advice to live on day at a time is not working. EVERY day there is something more terrible happening. Even reading isn’t helping my anxiety right now.

I was on the wait list for it at the library though now all the Libraries are closed. Sigh. Perhaps I can get on list for the ebook. I’m always game for Vietnam novels …. especially if you learn a lot which it sounds like you did with this one.
