It&#039;s not a long novel and I feel like I should have caveats with everything these days because my reading brain is so wonky. I felt manipulated- everyone was the enemy and while the premise is conceivable, in this day and age, it&#039;s pretty out there. Also, ends up having nothing to do with education.]]></description>

It can be hard to toe the line of plausibility in dystopic novels, and I think she did well with Vox, but it sounds like this one went over it. I still might try it--she wrote a good page-turner, and I can be on board with pure entertainment vs. plausible social commentary.]]></description>
