In reply to susan. It did, but I'd almost call it fantasy. He brings back characters from Cloud Atlas and The Bone Clocks and makes one character's psychosis into a character itself. It gets wild. It won't be for everyone. I just love Mitchell.

Someone said it had some magic realism or fantasy at the end … that didn’t make any sense? Hmm…. I’d struggle with that if it’s a good band book story … and then towards the end it goes off the deep end, that would be a bummer …. still I might read Mitchell sometime …

I feel as if he is a love or hate author. At the very least he requires effort to follow along and sometimes that’s not right for the reader. It’s even harder right now so I feel as if the timing of this novel was off.

Daisy is much lighter and faster. You’ll love it!

I have never read a Mitchell novel. Something about his stuff both intimidates me and doesn’t call to me. I have not yet read Daisy Jones and the Six but it’s still on my list.
