I think it’s better than Just Mercy, which was about getting bad guilty verdicts reversed. Barnett deals solely with the racist foundation of mandatory life sentences for nonviolent drug offenses. She’s getting sentences commuted to time served. The numbers are staggering. We have GOT to do better.
