Oh good … I’m keen to read this one. Glad you liked it. I don’t mind slow in parts. This seems like it has enough to keep it going.

I think the hype hurt this book a bit for me. My expectations were so high and it just fell a little short. Overall, I enjoyed most of the story, though I felt like it got a little bogged down in all the religion and science. Still, I plan on going back and reading Homegoing eventually. Her writing is beautiful.
