It’s definitely strange, but the nonfiction that worked for me was mostly light or very dark (true crime). No way would I try political- and you’ve scared me away from Obama’s memoir!

It sounds really interesting, but I’m the opposite of you this year. Nonfiction makes me want to turn and run. I even took a break from listening to A Promised Land. After 14 hours I needed some fiction! (BTW his editor must have been a coward. It’s way too detailed and the editor should have had the guts to tell Obama so!)
