I don’t think this is the book for you. It’s quite sad. Did you read The Reading List? I didn’t review it, but it’s a lighter novel and quite charming.

This book sounds heavy to me, and these days and times I am mostly sticking with lighter reading. Although I did just finish “The Next Thing You Know” and while it was very good it did have heavy themes so I am back to being done with those for a while. My heart can only take so much.
