This is similar to Your Own Good in that I looked at every character and thought they were dreadful, but I couldn’t stop reading.

I’ve given up on classifying my reading. I cannot predict what I’m going to like (or hate) anymore right now.

I have given up trying to figure out what type of book will hold my attention. No doubt I am in a reading slump. I have been racking up at least 3 dnf’s most months this year. I think the last couple of years I have lived through have caught up to my reading. Even my favorite authors their books this year leave me feeling blah, very little entertains me lately. Who knows? Maybe stepping into the dark side with unlikable characters is just the thing I need.
I did read For Your Own Good last year, and ended up liking the book, I was entertained, you know what I mean.
