It was hard for me to rate and write about it because I loved Tamma’s journey so much, but was derailed by the climbing jargon and the language. And I’m known to drop more than my fair share of f bombs!

Once I adjusted to the jarring language at the beginning, I really got into the two high school friends & their lives … and what was at stake. Their mothers were both quite awful … and it’s a matter of whether they can escape their circumstances and follow their dreams. I was sucked in! I found it pretty powerful. And the climbing accident — whoa! I’m glad the author kept the two characters alive. And it felt like a real & good ending. I got into the climbing lol.
