After reading “A Stolen Life” by Jaycee Dugard, I couldn’t pick up another like it. It’s a memoir – kidnapped at 11, she doesn’t get free until age 29. She has two kids by the guy by age 15 I think and the whole book gives details. Made me physically sick and mentally haunted.

Sounds like this one doesn’t do graphic detail though, so that may be it’s saving grace for those who read “A Stolen Life.”

I have a copy of this that I am ITCHING to read. So happy to read your review because it makes me even more excited to get to it! The premise is so creepy and it seems like there’s a lot of hidden elements that add to the suspense along the way.

This summary gave me chills. I initially thought it was going to be about how paranoia and fear of death makes it hard to live and then BAM, somebody with my name is locked in a box in the corner. Eek. I kind of want to read it and am kind of just “No. Please, no.”
