I guess I understand both POVs. Some authors provide every detail and it is amazing (Donna Tartt) but unless the writing is really sloppy I don’t mind things left to my imagination.

I find I don’t mind if a viewpoint character isn’t described, but have heard others complain about it (especially in writers groups).
