I’ve only read a couple of SK books– to be honest I’m not a huge horror fan. I did read 11/22/63 last year and loved it!

I’m a huge SK fan, and was lucky enough to meet him, get his autograph, and even to shake his hand (yeah, I totally was like, “can I shake your hand?” and he said YES!!!). I need to reread The Shining so I can read Doctor Sleep!!!

I’m sold! I’m not a huge King fan but I loved The Shining. I’ve been putting off this one because I’m always skeptical when it comes to second parts, they are usually sloppy, but Doctor Sleep sounds great!

In reply to Jenny @ Reading the End. You crack me up! You should read The Green Mile or Shawshank Redemption- they're not horror at all but great books. Or 11/22/63 which is an amazing novel based on the Kennedy assasination.

Hahahaha, I am one of those five people! I’m too scared of Stephen King to read his books, even though I’m about 80% sure I’d really like his books. I need someone to go through his book list with me and cross off the ones that have serial killers (rather than ghosts/demons), so I can steer clear of all the serial killer ones and only focus on the ones I can deal with (ie ghosts/demons).
