Thank you, Cynthia! It’s not a bad a book and definitely one you would pick up and finish in a day.

I don’t know what it is but I’ve yet to be wowed this year. I could really use something that hits all the sweet spots!

I wished it was never labeled “This Year’s Gone Girl”. I might have had a different experience. Just going with “intense”, “suspenseful”, “thriller”, “page-turner” would have had me interested without the plug of a book that is hard to live up to.

Thanks, Leah! I feel like I may stand alone on this one but it just felt like Hawkins took a very easy route in making her main character literally unreliable.
