Almost heartbreaking because later she destroyed much of her own work and yet what is left is so amazing. What could she have achieved in a different time?

It is. The movie was marvelous as well. A very tragic life not helped by the times she lived in. Or Rodin and his love life…and taking credit for some of her work.
