I couldn’t stop talking about this one, Catherine; I’m pretty sure all of my co-workers thought I was crazy (well, crazier than usual) due to my obsession with the airport community and these characters that were so amazingly real to me, like you’ve mentioned. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

YES, totally agree that the realism is a huge reason that this is a powerful read. I love her writing so much.

I am so anxious to read Station Eleven! Apparently, everyone else in my city is too. I’ve been waiting for it to be available at the library. Based off of your review I think I am going to enjoy it. I’m not a fan of zombies but I do like Dystopian-ish novels.
