I had to wait to read this until I managed to write something about it myself. Pretty sure if I’d read this first, I would have just put up a link to your post.

The jargon in this book is amazing. Amazing because it so accurately captures my real life. Is it so much to ask for some concrete guidelines? Apparently, yes. I’m not kidding when I say I had to work though some PTSD moments reading this!

The book ended up surprising me because I assumed it was going to be about this crazy workplace but it ends up being about all the ways adulting sucks.

So, I read the first couple pages of this one last week and I was thinking I just couldn’t take it…all the workplace jargon run amok. I get that it’s satire, but it was just grating my ears.

But, I’m going to give it another shot later now that I know things change a bit.
