In reply to Lauren. I'm back and it was fantastic! Agreed on Before the Fall. I know someone people really felt it fell flat, but while I was disappointed at the ending I kind of understood why Hawley wrote it that way.

“Lard-ass bully.” That describes Bill perfectly. I really loved Before the Fall despite the end, maybe even a little because of it. You are right, this is one that evokes a variety of different feelings. It would be a great book to sit around and discuss.

Love the minis. Hope you’re having a grand trip! (Or are you home now? I can’t keep up. If so, I hope you’re recovering from your wondering trip)
