I didn’t want to read this one yet, because (if I remember correctly, and I won’t really know until the box shows up) I think this was my book of the month selection. But I did want to come see what your rating was and dip in and out of the verbiage. Hearing good things about this one, anxious to try and cram it in the mix somewhere!

I’m intrigued by this one after eavesdropping on you and Shannon the other day. 3 1/2 stars sounds like a good library book choice. 😉

Hmmm…I’m starting The Mothers tonight. There has been so much hype about this book, that I fear I could be disappointed. Thanks for the review. It provides some pre-reading insights.

Oh thanks for the review – I have had this one on my radar (due to all the pre-publication hype). It sounds like you had some caveats about it — but it was worth reading. I’d like to check out the writing style at least.
