So funny. The horse on the cover and the title are what first attracted me. I’m something of a sucker for a horse on a cover. To wit: I once bought Juliet in August based solely on the cover and it knocked my socks off.

Yes. I heard of it when it came out last year, but didn’t hear anything about it and foolishly judged the title, thought ‘horses? no’ and didn’t read it. It’s so much more.

It’s been on my list to check out for a very long time. I think this is the first review I’ve seen from someone I know and trust. And it sounds really intriguing, but I’m not sure it’s enough to push me over the edge. I think if the ebook goes on sale I’ll probably snag it, but I’m not sure I’ll go to the effort (yes, that huge, calorie-burning effort) of requesting it from the library.
