It is much more a character-driven novel than a plot driven one.

It’s an elusive thing, isn’t it? The last one of hers I truly adored was The Dovekeepers and then the two most recent were good but not great. This was the right book at the right time. It made me so happy to read it.

It sounds like this goes back to some of the more magical elements that I originally was drawn to. With a five star review, I think I’ll give this a try!
