It almost slipped past my radar! The publisher is not being helpful with ARCs so I put it on hold at my library. I loved NeverHome so much so am curious to see what he does now.

It’s somehow slipped under the radar for every blogger I know! I almost didn’t see it- the title is pretty unwieldy and the publisher is not sending out arcs (at least not to me!) so I put it on hold at the library. I loved Neverhome- thought it was so unique and moving.

Yeah the movie of House of Sand & Fog was excellent too. Each performance drew me in! Great cast. & heartbreaking & tension filled story!

Hello, fellow librarian! I’m the same way. I generally only buy books I’ve read and loved and even then largely because the author is coming to town.

I don’t blame you- I was hesitant. He has an unusual style, but it’s one that works for me. My only apprehension about it is it’s about a powerful white man and I’m really not in a space for that these days!

I was surprised- October turned out to have more big releases than September. At least the kind I want to read. I already know I won’t make it through all of them before November!
