I got to hold off on anymore disappearing sisters, or people, stories but I too am interested in We Went to the Woods. I haven’t read Dead Letters but I remember your enthusiasm for it — so I will I will try out her book 2. Great preview post.

I have the middle two books, thanks to you and am looking forward to them. I’ve been nervous about the Vuong book because of his background as a poet. I’ll let you vet it for me. Until the podcast today I didn’t know about the new Caite Dolan-Leach book. I liked Dead Letters, so will probably go ahead and request her new book. Nice job today!

The Gone Dead looks especially appealing to me. There are some good looking books coming out this summer! Currently I’m still on my backlist reading kick but I’ll get around to some new things eventually, I can’t resist!

Ah, great post, thanks for these. Three of the four were not yet on my radar, but are now. The Vuong sounds intriguing (love me some letter-based books) and while I haven’t yet gotten to (I know, I know) A LITTLE LIFE, the cover also struck me as similar. GONE DEAD sounds good and I’m also a sucker for anything described as gritty. I also liked DEAD LETTERS, though not as much as everyone else (but see: curmudgeon), but will check out the Dolan-Leach. Premise sounds good. I have read VAN APFEL and really liked it.
