I hadn’t even thought of another one! That could be interesting. Mostly, I just needed the aliens to be more alien- if that makes sense. They felt like something out of one of the original Star Trek episodes- clunky.

I really liked the personal aspects of this book best. What it means to choose that life. Maybe if you could take a Kindle and books were uploaded to you for free for the entire mission I might not mind the isolation so much, but it can’t be easy.
