I can see that, but it made me marvel at Thorpe even more- that she could create this girl was likable, but also completely entitled. She’d never been held responsible.

It makes me reconsider why The Knockout Queen didn’t work quite as well for me. Based on the synopsis and again on your words this should have been just my sort of book. Somehow, I just never could connect with the characters, especially Bunny and I think that took a little of the luster off for me.
