I did think it was too long and had too much background that I don’t think was necessary. But I’m all about lean and mean, and it’s not like the writing wasn’t good, so it’s more a personal leaning. I enjoyed it.

What did you think? I’ve heard complaints that it was too long, but if I’m enjoying a book (even if the writing is good not great) I don’t mind long these days. I thought it was fun and the twist at the end made me laugh- in a good way because I had no idea.

For me 3 stars is good and 4 is great. So, it fell between the two. I thought it was good summer reading, which is saying something because SO many books are not working for me at all.
