She not only never really has a relationship with her mother, she goes on to commit the same mistakes with her children- only not to the same degree.

It’s crazy how well nonfiction is working for me in 2020. I’m sure there’s a deep psychological meaning, but I have not taken the time to figure it out!

It was not easy finding Rainbow! It was published long ago enough that I tried 3 libraries before I found an audio version.

So many books to read! I’m going to see if Libby has it and try to get to it this fall. I felt similarly as you did about Craigslist Confessional. After a while, the sad stories all sort of blended together for me. It was depressing!
