These are wonderful picks! Need to get to all of them! I read a couple backlist debuts this year that definitely amazed me: The Snow Child and Sweetbitter … both were great reads for me. Blacktop Wasteland was also a good summer action debut. I like picking up debuts ….

Oh, Catherine – Valentine and A Knock at Midnight were so good for me, too! I haven’t read My Dark Vanessa, which is quite surprising given all the hype, but maybe I need to give it a try!
