Oh my gosh, hi, Jill! It was so wonderful to see David. Jed was so touched by his being there.

I would not have chosen that as his first book to rad from my reviews. Given what you just said I'd recommend Empire of Pain or Blowout for him. Fantastic nonfiction.

What an exciting trip! I just finished a very creepy novel about Iceland. Not the country creepy, but about a pandemic that begins there. The author wrote it before COVID appeared. I hope you find plenty of options- I've been doing this for 9 years. I have reviews indexed by genre for easier searching. Also, feel free to email me at my contact info and I'd be happy to suggest some of my favorites.

Catherine,
I’m David’s wife Jill, another very old friend of Jed. I laughed out loud that David downloaded this book to listen to on his way home to Portland. Not his style. He usually listens to lectures on tape on obscure topics.

David recommended this book and your site. It was perfect timing. I am trying to find books to read on a trip to Iceland and Paris.
I love reading too. Now that my twins are graduating, I should have more time to enjoy more books.

Reading and reviewing books instead of working sounds like heaven.

Best,
Jill Bowman
