Oh no. Sorry about the surgery. What does the doc say? Will it improve?? The Clinton/Penny collaboration sounds like it has a lot of payback in it … for the last admin — hope so. Did you read the Stacey Abrams novel? I think I might eventually.

I’m with you! I hated Book of Two Ways. That’s how Picoult goes for me- love or hate.

I’m really excited for the Hoffman book.

I’m sorry to hear that the cataract surgery has been so problematic. Sending good vibes for healing.
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to seeing your reviews on these. The Louise Penny/Hillary Clinton is on my list because Louise Penny/Hillary Clinton. I’m willing to give them leeway. The Klune book is not on my list right now because of its content, but I agree with your opinion on Cerulean Sea so I’ll consider it. I hadn’t heard about Cloud Cuckoo Land, and it doesn’t necessarily intrigue me, but again, like you I loved All the Light so I’ll count on your opinions about putting it on my list. Jodi Picoult is a no for me, but the others could also get listed if you like them. 🙂

I am planning to read, The book of magic. I just finished Magic lessons and loved it. I plan to read Wish you were here though I didn’t enjoy Book of two ways, I’m hopeful the new book will be good as in general I have liked most of Jodi Picoults books.

Alice Hoffman, and Jodi Picoult can be hit or miss with me but I will give their latest a try. “We Are Not Like Them” is getting some buzz, and it sounds interesting so I will also give it a try.
